A LETTER FROM LONNIE AND GAIL

We started Sundog Expeditions (Salmon River Dories, Inc.) in 1999 to offer top-notch participatory river trips and share the places we love the most, in the way that we know best. We know from personal experience that river trips have the power to renew the spirit, nourish the soul, and empower the individual. The river leaves a distinct afterglow. It's no wonder people return to Sundog Expeditions again and again to rejuvenate and refresh!

Together we have 40 years of experience conducting extended river adventures. In the process, we have made life-long friends, met amazing people, and traveled through some of the most spectacular places on earth. We are committed to being good environmental stewards. As a result, many of our trips now are conducted as fund-raisers for organizations that work to preserve, protect and restore the environment through education , outreach and advocacy. In addition, a portion of the profits from each of our trips is donated to support non-profit groups who work on behalf of the rivers and the natural environment we all share.
