CRWP is a member based non-profit organization whose projects include: FishWatch, where trained volunteers collect water quality data each year from the Copper River drainage; fish habitat restoration projects to re-vegetate and stabilize spawning and salmon rearing habitat; tourism projects; monitoring of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, which crosses major Copper River tributaries and salmon spawning and salmon rearing rivers, for leaks and spills; watershed education, stewardship and scholarship programs; and recycling and composting efforts
